Really neat! I may have missed it, but what knife is this? It looks like an upgraded Spyderco Roadie.
I just went over and checked the Lanzo out at the cabot site. It does seem a tad pricey for a 3" slip joint, but what struck me is the blade thickness is listed at .035" which is just a few thousandths over 1/32". Its pointier brother, the Dellatorre, is spec'd the same. @Chefget that sure seems impossibly thin. Do you have the thickness dimension on yours?I do believe it is the tungsten carbide blade made by Sandrin, or something like that! They are.sold thru the 1911 custom pistol maker that makes the American Joe!!!!! Cabot guns.. Sweet but pricey!!!!! Some cool stuff there!!
Beautiful!
Nice picture and blade brother !All of the rain and heat we’ve been getting lately has caused a beautiful green flora explosion outside, giving me all sorts of excuses to go out and enjoy it.

I don’t think you can go wrong with this pattern. I enjoy mine immensely !I was surprised by how small the knife is; I haven't loved the congress pattern knives I've owned, most of them were on the clunky little pocket brick side. It's an exaggeration to say the two small blades are dull, incidentally. They'll cut paper but not shave arm hair, the large blade shaved arm hair casually straight from the tube. Also, the small blades are just the right setup for me, straight edged, thick enough not to bend when used the way I carve, but thin enough at the edge to cut like crazy.
I see more of these in my future.![]()
Relax, tongue was firmly in cheek...Some of those Craftsman tools are over 40 years old, back when Craftsman was big. I still use them today, so I don't see what your problem is.
Misspelling Chris Reeve's name? What a shame...
