EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Another backup utility ventilator I’ve been enjoying. I’m drawn to stabby blade shapes. This is a Williams Blade Design piece made by TRC knives. They did a nice job with it.

Carries nice and light and compact with the taco sheath and 4.5” Elmax blade. Just installed a Mummert clip that is riding nicely IWB. You can one hand on/off and forget it about it all day if needed.

I was unsure about the handle design before having it in hand, but it works. Just enough for a comfortable full grip and plenty of texture to lock it in. Definitely outside of my normal wheelhouse though. The grind is not overly thin by any means, but has proven to be a good cutter while still very durable.

I had a pretty lazy day today as my knee's been killing me this week. I did some light housekeeping stuff, made some medical calls, went through bills, and spent some screen time here. I read through a 9 page GKD thread started by a first-time Sebenza owner that elicited the sort of responses seasoned BFers could easily imagine. Surprisingly, I actually posted in it, not just once, but twice. :confused:

It got me thinking about my accumulation, favorite knives, and their relative dollar values and uses. These two are listed on my Profile Page under Favorite Knife with the note "along with about 10 others" so I had them with me today. Not really on me, as I spent the day in soft shorts and T-shirt (yeah, yeah, ok, so I slept in 'em), but more like TheFactor TheFactor 's "table top carry". Here they are after finally showering and getting dressed before cooking supper (in clean soft shorts and T, of course :rolleyes:).

Somewhere in that thread was a predictable comment about glamour shots of knives that never get used. @Dcdavis was over there and responded appropriately. My Sebenza never gets used either...
