This is just a cheap generic folder i found in the shed that i had a go at making some scales for. But even though its nothing like the amazing knives you guys have been showing in the thread, ( im really quite envious, ) its now clean, sharp and solid, so i'm happy to carry it in my pocket for a while.

Well, yeah, I own a couple too. In the spirit of ErocSD's post over in the Skinny thread, "they are all pretty, just different".
That being said, the Fulltrack was my first Hinderer, and still feels special.

Carrying an old 1970’s Puma 965 in honor of my dad today.
This was the knife that made me want a better knife. My dad was never into knives, but he was gifted this from the widow of a close friend he lost. He also wasn’t into hunting much, but since I was, he indulged me a couple times before dementia set in.
One chilly December morning in SC, I dropped a couple of does while we hunted some family property together. Of course I was on adrenaline overload; my pops was pleased but a bit miffed at the amount of work we had in front of us!
I had cheap knives that weren’t very sharp to begin with, and the skinning was going a little slow. But I remember my dad getting out the Puma and what a difference it made. It was sharp! And it held an edge. Hmm. It would be nice to have a decent knife one day I thought. Little did I know the rabbit hole that was to come! Lol
Poor knife looks like it was subjected to some sharpening abuse back in the day. I cleaned up some tarnish when I got it and put a decent edge back on it. Good to go again.
