But even though its nothing like the amazing knives you guys have been showing in the thread, ( im really quite envious, ) its now clean, sharp and solid, so i'm happy to carry it in my pocket for a while.

I think that looks like a great job at a scale replacement. There's something cool about carrying a knife that you modified or customized, too.
 
Yeah, I'm extra pumped as this is my first Father's Father's Day. My middle son sent me his own greetings and another text with a pic of my 7 month old grandson looking like he's about to stand and take over the world. :D

I've been doing a knife pairs thing the last few days doing light duty and chilling out around the ranch, hopefully waiting for my balky knee to calm down. Today it's Biryukov's, as I was pumped to find the knife Andrey agreed to make for me Thursday is on its way past its second shipping stop in Nizhny Novgorod.

Like yesterday's two Olamics and several others, these also live in one of my double leather and suede-cloth lined pouches. I just got this case for the pair and now I'll have three to deal with. More 1st World problems. :rolleyes:

Kudos if you are...I sometimes feel a little self conscious when I realize I ended up with 4 knives. I've hit 5 occasionally, due to jacket pockets.... but 7? In the summer? You, sir, may be the knuttiest of knuts. :thumbsup:

They all fitted perfectly in this travel pouch, all being small, with plenty of space to spare, No jacket pockets needed,

Usually I have 1-2 as edc, just today these happened to be with/on me (not planned).
