Ok, this deserves further reply. I greatly wanted to see the Cheburkov Voron again as it sent me on a year long quest. I didn’t know you at the time, but I saw that knife and thought it was the most compelling thing I had ever seen. Now you posted the Skinny Hinderer. I have never really been focused on Hinderers, but then I saw yours and thought “wow that is incredible.” Little did I know a skinny Hinderer (much less with those scales) is impossible to find. It’s a compelling knife, and I’ve enjoyed learning about this knife inspired by your post! I’m sure when a maker comes out a sprint run model called Unobtanium, you will have the best example of the lot. But, as a favor, can you just stop posting such things? Haha. Hope you’re well.OK,DCFree , as requested here's my Voron, which I assume is the Cheburkov you wanted to see.

I had this on me grocery shopping this morning, thwacked it out to cut a coupon in the frozen foods aisle, and got quite the bug-eyed look from a woman I didn't realize was watching.

The other thing that just occurred to me is that this blade has a rather substantial hole in it which I hope doesn't offend anyone's sensibilities or good taste, @jheis.

You should know and I hope you appreciate, DCFree, how hard it was for me not to pocket my new XM18 Skinny this morning, although it seems to be lurking around in its slipcase now that I'm back home again.

That's almost exactly the knife I spec'd out and priced with Eugene a few years back a while after picking up a 247. I never pulled the trigger on it as wasn't feeling quite flush enough at the time. I always wanted to go back and get it built but have gotten sidetracked into too many other knives along the way. I recently bought a gorgeous Rainmaker frame lock from a dealer and am thinking again about having that Wayfarer made...or maybe a liner lock Rainmaker....Really like that one of yours.
