EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Brother Flat, chief disciple of the Flock of the non-Ferrous Folder, what model is that?! I like the clip and blade shape.
Lmao!! Thanks my brother :) I must speak heresy now, for this folder is ferrous bladed indeed (although I’d love to have one in dendritic cobalt). It’s a TAD Dauntless mk4. Here goes the presentation side, just for you ;)

Nice! Man, that looks like it has the same baby’s momma as the PDW/T365 chirren.
Same baby daddy.. Patrick Ma!
He’s one of the founders of TAD, PDW, and Terrain, if I’m not mistaken, and a straight up G.
You’ve got a great eye for design brother!
It’s the Esse Izula/Candiru I’ve always wanted.

Yes!!! Looks awesome! That’s my most anticipated knife so far this year. Hope it serves you very well

The Swayback is a very cool knife! I have been waiting for over 6 years for this one to finally go into production! Fit and finish is what you expect from a Taiwanese Spyderco, feels very high end all around. There are a few things that I don't like though. They didn't chamfer the lockbar which creates a sharp edge there. Not a huge deal but a little disappointing in this price category. Really annoying is the clip. I don't know what they were thinking but that polished steel looks horrible on this beautiful knife! Replacement clips are available but from what I have seen they all sit a bit too high. For now I took the clip off. Finally, in my opinion this is the perfect timeless gentleman's folder design. The perfect blend of modern and traditional. But then I don't understand why the blade has to be over 3.5"! A 3" blade would have been the perfect EDC...
The detent is pretty stiff, knife is running on PB washers. The action is good on mine but not the drop shut type. Ergos are OK but not amazing, the access to the Spydie hole is a bit limited by the frame. Overall I'm very happy with it, I just wish it was smaller!

Thanks for the write up, I appreciate the look and quality. I think this would be a great EDC gentlemen's carry and would check a lot of boxes in terms of framelock, good blade steel.

I also really like the size, I think 3.5" is the perfect size. I hate 3" blades and have sold every one except my Leek which I rarely carry except when I'm wearing a suit and drinking, then I want a knife that is small enough not to print and I can lose it and not cry.
