EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Medford Fat Daddy

The Cambria is my first ProTech and first button lock (picked up in gently used condition on the bane of my existence, the BF Exchange...:D), and on both fronts I can only say whoa. At a featherweight 3.3 oz., this classy knife has an incredible blade:handle ratio of 0.82 (my usual benchmark, the BM 940, is 0.76), flawless fit and finish, fantastic ergos, and action so smooth it blows my mind.

Like the ZT 0450, it looks like a sleek little suit-pocket knife until you flip it open and the surprisingly large blade swings into view. It's subtle and silent apart from an almost delicate-sounding ting upon opening and closing. Even at the original full-boat street price, it punches above its weight. I now see why the ProTech Malibu sold out instantly. ;)

I have the same feeling right now that I did when I got my Bugout, which was so exemplary at being what it was that it prompted me to reevaluate similar knives in my collection and put several up for sale.
