Just hung around the house all day and never really picked out a knife or pocketed anything despite the fact that I had a Strider and Shiro F95R up on the knife cabinet after getting them out last night. I spent the afternoon doing paperwork and my Al Mars live in their slips in the pencil tray on the drafting table where I usually spread out to work. I figure they're as close as I got to carries today so I took 'em out after supper for a couple pics on the grill.

That's some classic sh!t right there.

You're right on both counts, brother, and thanks for the compliment. It's such pure design and so old school--I love the contrast from the brass liners to the stainless lock, spacer, and bolsters then back to the handle scales. They're "just" AUS8, but their factory edges came wicked sharp and have remained so through light EDC and desk duty. It's amazing how smooth and easy they pivot on only their liners too.

I had the cocobolo Eagle first and searched a long time for a matching Falcon but happily "settled" for the polished black Micarta as there were just no new Talons to be had. These are Fadden-era Mokis and the F&F is outstanding.

I love what Chip did to the jigged bone Eagle he engraved, but these two will maintain their stark and plain beauty as long as I have them. I'll just have to find something else for my friend to work his magic on down the road.

Well sometime my perseverance pays off and it did big time this Time round. I decided to give Medford another chance and thought I’d try a praetorian slim s35v flamed bronze. This one is a Perfect example no lock stick with outstanding action it flys open with Authority!
I love the flaming on this one it’s very subtle and almost Smokey. Looks really nice and oh man what a relief Because I bought this one without having any special requests or things to check by the dealer before shipping and it’s perfect ! Man my hearts racing I’m so happy I really love this one Very smooth action to out of the box.
