My project for the noon time hour.. grilled some bird and sliced peaches and strawberries.
Made a mess of the 501, but a bath and fresh oil fixed that up. Next time I'll use a small fixed.

Thank you! It’s a 501 my daughter gave me for Father’s Day. Micarta scales and S35VN blade. Destined to become a favorite carry of mine.

IWB carry is super comfy when you're actually "In The Belt"
This angle is comfortable sitting down and driving, and also doesn't catch things
and kubotan my side while I'm hopping railings and crawling through the attic
Keeps my tool pouch in place too so it doesn't slide back and yank my pants down

When you peel back the layers, they're really all the same....

I don't know how you Southern fellas can handle all that heat y'all get down there. It's been in the 90's here on Cape, which is wicked unusual for us sticking out into the Atlantic, and I've been so drained just putting in a couple 5 hour days that I forgot to take pics and post here yesterday. Consequently I carried the same knife again today which was a steady work carry quite a few years back. I bought this one on my birthday up in Vermont not long after we got our place up there, later adding a set of Igorded OD Micarta scales to complete the package and I still pocket it from time-to-time.

Was able to drive away after the tow truck pulled me out. Had my SMF in my pocket and had to cut the plastic fender well off because it was rubbing my tire. Below is the trusty SMF.
