Favorite everything on this Hinderer XM18 3.5; blade shape, finish, scale, bearings. Great knife and Hinderer has really dialed in the detent and overall fit and finish. Few knives feel like they beg to be used and abused, and this is certainly one of them.

Raining to beat the band on Throwback Thursday. Going with a Schrade auto, probably from the early 40's, jigged Black comp, stamped SCHRADE WALDEN NY USA. This baby fires perfectly and I don't think it was used much, if at all. This one never had a bail.

Nice old schrade. Being a walden era with USA in the stamp that would most likely be in the 1953-54 to 1957ish range. They stopped making them for the civilian market not long after the federal switchblade ban.
