Figured I’d stick with the tanto the rest of the week. Didn’t really plan on it but it happened
Raining to beat the band on Throwback Thursday. Going with a Schrade auto, probably from the early 40's, jigged Black comp, stamped SCHRADE WALDEN NY USA. This baby fires perfectly and I don't think it was used much, if at all. This one never had a bail.
Getting a late start this morning morning, stalked the mail guy for my OZ Machine Roosevelt! Already had the Medford in my pocket and the Clinch Pick on the belt so its going to be a threesome for the day!
It's a Matriarch morning for me.
No Sebenza today? blasphemy!
Favorite everything on this Hinderer XM18 3.5; blade shape, finish, scale, bearings. Great knife and Hinderer has really dialed in the detent and overall fit and finish. Few knives feel like they beg to be used and abused, and this is certainly one of them.
Nice old schrade. Being a walden era with USA in the stamp that would most likely be in the 1953-54 to 1957ish range. They stopped making them for the civilian market not long after the federal switchblade ban.
Got the bases covered and then some.
Lunchtime with Andre!!
That brisket looks alright... Mines probably better LOL
