EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Took my first good 9.6 mile hike this summer along the New Jersey and New York borders. It was the maiden voyage for my new to me Bark River Bushcrafter and I also brought along Native 5 Salt and Wave+. I got to see some great views, almost stepped on a 3 foot Timber Rattlesnake that blended in perfectly with the trail, and got a good workout. View attachment 1404237

The Long Path up in the Interstate Park?

It's actually about 35 miles east. The main trail is called Bearfort Ridge it's in Abram S. Hewitt State Forrest. It has a short section that is shared with the Appalachian Trail along the state borders.

It was my first time up there since college a decade and change ago. I'm hoping to get up there again this fall for the changing of the leaves. I miss having easy access to the trails up there. It's too flat where I live. The long tail looks like something I need to check out for sure though.

To keep the thread on track here's a picture of the temporary handle and sheath for my mule 4v that I made while I wait for Halpern to release new micarta scales. Don't mind the lackluster construction. It was my first attempt at either. I made a dangler for my Tops Bob and had left over leather that I didn't want to waste. 20200823_093853.jpg
