  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

That's the problem I had, edge stability. Spyderco warranty couldn't fix it, sent me a replacement, which I sold. It was a cool knife though.

Yeah, there were some really bad reports (and pics) of chipped edges. I preemptively added a micro bevel and it's held up so far. It's even (very carefully!) cut a few zip ties with no damage.

A damn wild animal tried to attack me out on the patio earlier.

Interesting question. The Camillus tang stamps date it from 1941-1946, so about 65 years.
I had to google the Skeletool, since I didn't know what the years of production were. I just read that they only made the basic Skeletool with a plain edge in 2008, before changing to a combo edge. I learned something cool today, thanks!

You're very welcome. Thanks a lot for your research and the new picture! It seems these knives could be like grandparent and grandchild.:)
