thanks brother! Its a massdrop Keen made by WE knives, Ray Laconico design, and a great folder! I think I prefer this speedhole version over the 2 smooth ones i have/had. I highly recommend it!

thats pretty sweet! Watched a tutorial on the CRK spidey hole mod recently. I think the hardest part is gathering the stones to do it!

Thanks that is the factory G10 Scale modified with a dry river bed pattern with chamfered edges and came already on the knife from the exchange here. Here is the matching lockbar stabilizer with the same treatment.

Not a huge fan of this big old clip but it works for now.

Today I'm finding joy in two different points on the knife spectrum, the Bad Monkey point and the $35 eagle-themed karambit point. :D

Bad Monkey / QSP Eagle

This is my first QSP knife. I did a bit of research on QSP, starting as always with "Do they make clones?" (as that ends my interest if the answer is yes), and they looked to be a solid budget brand. I have no idea how the Eagle can be this well made for under $50: G10, skeletonized liners, functional jimping, good action and lockup, and they executed the theme with intent. Surprisingly good little knife, and a lot of fun to mess with.

I've been carrying my new Para 3 Maxamet every day since I got it (12 days). This is my first Spyderco. I have to say that before I even purchased this I was hesitant about the knife and the brand but I can now say I may be a convert... The more I carry this knife the more I enjoy it. The Maxamet has held up great and I did strop it after a week of moving 4 different people and it could shave again. The blade may be a bit short for some food prep but I love the patina it is taking on and it makes it worth it to use for me. I did get a MXG deep carry clip for it.

Also I can't think of original photo themes so I jumped on the knife and pen combo. I've used this pen for the last 3 years.
