I still haven't gone back to catch up on all the 29 pages I missed while up in the Vermont woods nor posted all my carries from that sojourn, but here's a pic I shot last week toward the northern end of our lower acreage's road frontage, with our neighbor's drive to the left, our field to the right, and the town road heading back into the woods and toward it's unmaintained stretch that leads to our northern acreage.
Here's a before pic of the second new-to-me but like-new knife I took up with me, this one from our friend
@alliuse who gave me a sweet deal and got it to me straight away. Thanks, brother!
I've always really liked the brightness and translucence of red RHK scales and was able to get one for this Skinny with the help of some accumulated DLT rewards points. Here's a shot from up north after the swap as I carried the knife a couple days last week...
...and a couple from this morning as it's my Titanium Tuesday carry.
I'd wanted a Skinny Sheepsfoot for a while now, a desire that was further stoked after acquiring my Skinny No-Choil Slicer.
@mb> , you were interested in a comparison between the RHK Skinny Sheepsfoot and the CRK Insingo--as am I--but a forgot to take my Insingo's to VT and have yet to check the two makers' versions of that blade style against each other. I've got some boxes to slay and will put them through their paces as well as gauging their various thicknesses/grinds and post some thoughts down the road.
