EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

I made this a Skinny Sheepsfoot Saturday when I took this to work at my son's this afternoon.

It didn't get a lot of use on the job as I finished up the little bit of framing I had and insulated the new bays, cutting the Kraft-faced FG with more appropriate knives.

It did get the honor of opening today's mail call, though, as I stopped by my PO to pick up this NW Coast SHF in S45VN. I'll be spending some time this weekend breaking in and getting to know this one, but I'm already quite taken with it.

Hope everyone had, or is currently having...a fun and safe Halloween.

I went with the Tengu today. Definitely not the first knife that comes to mind when you think “Benchmade”, but a solid, well made flipper that’s a pleasure to carry.

As an aside, the lighting sucked all day today. I probably took 30-40 pics throughout the day...and got absolute squat in return. These are the two “least-sucky”, but they really don’t do the knife justice:

Happy Halloween BF! We had our first ever Halloween candy hunt. May turn this into a tradition. It was a heck of a lot of fun.

I don't have any Halloween themed knives so I just tied some orange and black paracord onto my newly acquired Launch 13. My favorite in the Launch series yet. The action feels more like a Microtech LUDT than other Launch predecessors that had a softer, less snappy action. This thing rockets open and is a great slicer.

I want a 13. If it comes out in other colors.

However, I'm really addicted to the new front flipper Civivi I got today.

Veto Pro toolbags are amazing.
True that, my friend. I have the XXL-F closed bag for my carpenter tools and wonder why it took me so long to get one. It came with a promo for a free TP5B which is basically an oversized tech-tool side pouch with a hard bottom and attachable carry handle. I gave it to my son who's a sparky and he uses it as a mid-size carry bag and just loves it. VPP makes wicked sturdy stuff designed with pros in mind.

Have had this LC since 2012... Had to wash it three times with a hose and dishsoap after getting sprayed from cats and dogs and had someone back over it with a scissor lift skidding it across a cement floor. Still works like new!
