  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Cool pic, my friend. You sure that's not Mars time?

Thanks buddy.

I was trying to get a picture of a Great Horned Owl at the time that kept flying from tree to tree every couple of minutes, but each time I just wasn’t quick enough with the Nikon. The last 5-6 days I kept on mentioning the sunrises I’m enjoying, so I decided to shoot that instead. 9 minutes before sunrise the whole sky just lit up and I was shooting all different angles knowing I had just a few minutes before it would change. The Moon shot was just one of them and was clear of background clutter except for the pink cloud effect, wish it would have been full and lower in the sky too.

Tomorrow morning should be another stunner and the Moonrise much lower too. We shall see.

^^^ Slow in the fast direction - approximately one rotation every six seconds - indicating that the incoming generator-set frequency is slightly higher than the running set. The breaker takes approximately one-half second to fully close so begin the closing operation at the 11 o'clock point on the synchroscope so that it is fully shut at the 12 o'clock point on the synchroscope.

Never ceases to amaze me how many other operators are on Bladeforums:D
