Cheers. Thanks for the well wishes. It proved to be a hard one to replicate and I may just buy another one eventually, but the shop I bought it from which is the same as where I got the Casstrom has the Kolt at $299.

I’ve lost my Fallkniven Kolt so bought this as a fixed blade replacement. Sweet tapered tang Casstrom. I plan on getting the kydex sheath for it View attachment 1451895

I use the Casstrom Safari for cleaning waterfowl. Works amazing. It is such an under-rated blade. Great choice.

I really enjoy carrying this SOG X-Ray Vision. I just wish they hadn't changed the pocket clip location to the rear of the handle (deep carry) but kept it on the side. You can see the 'shield' shape toward the rear of the handle where the clip used to be situated.
