EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

These just arrived today... Been cleaning them up and sharpening them. I kinda like them! I'll probably make some wooden scales for them in the near future.

Lapedog beat me to it by a good margin, because things take a while to get to the States, from China.

I really like it, because I like Titanium, and framelocks, and sodbuster pattern knives are something that caught my eye a while ago, but I could never find one I quite liked enough. This one, I like enough.

But there's a problem. It's not so easy to see in this photo, but I noticed it within three seconds of opening the blade. I can live with it, because I can fix it, but methinks the apprentice needs to work on the concept of "dwell time", when he's putting on the secondary bevel.

My son had broken the tip off the Para 3 I gave him for his birthday out of my collection. It's been hanging around for a while waiting for me to get to it. Yesterday I slowly roughed it out on the bench grinder and then spent an hour on the EdgePro getting it all to 20 DPS.

The tip's thicker now so I'm fine with the edge bevel wider there. Maybe it'll be harder for him to bust it off again. I thought it came out pretty well and was gonna carry it today, but K came by and snatched it up. So much for that.

Instead, I went with probably my favorite work user as I'm doing a few things over in the shop on our second rainy day in a row here.

Today I’m throwing a Kershaw in my pocket. This brand is one of my favorite low cost options. I’m into it for fifteen bucks and it performs pretty decent for the money.

I had a Blur years ago. Tanto version with serrations. I ended up not carrying it much because of the tanto point. Picked this up yesterday and de-assisted it. Really enjoying it overall.
