EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Not up at the cabin anymore, but the knife in the photo is what I'll be packing around with me today (St. Nick's exclusive Para 3):

Nice shot, Chariotz4 Chariotz4 . What lake is that? My brother-in-law moved from the Vancouver area a couple years ago out to the Okanagan, but he's had a cabin up on Pitt Lake for years.

Thanks for the compliment (just trying to keep up with your photos)! It's Christina Lake, a few hours east of Osoyoos; my family and I head up there every summer for some R&R. This was my first time up after August and the deciduous trees looked brilliant amongst the coniferous trees all around the lake!

I took a couple fresh pics of today's carry while over in the shop. I got this set of Forstner bits along with several standing tools I inherited from a late client. They were still BNIB today when I used the 1.5" in my drill press on some oak table leg extensions I made for my wife.

Last time up North I had done a poor sharpening job on my 247 having only taken my SharpMaker along. On M390 it's only really effective for touch-ups and the angle was not quite there either so I made rather a hash of things. Yesterday, with the EdgePro still out, I spent some time getting this one right. I'll be toting it around today and expect to be carrying it more now that it has a proper edge.

Broke out the brick after some of that “Hinderer vs ZT” thread, and walked into work today having forgotten that I have a lot of cutting ahead of me in this shift. I prefer closer to 3mm stock on days like this, but...

On second thought, maybe I’ll just attack the packing crates Winkler promo style, going right through the walls instead of cutting the zip ties. I’ll just pretend they’re Hondas.
