EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Lots of S's here, Starting as Sage Saturday. I've had this one about a week and haven't carried it yet, but it was a perfect small and light fit for my workout pants this morning.

This is the 3rd double of the original 5 Sage models with the second versions of the 3 and 5 coming in order but this Maxamet and gray G10 variant of the 1 brackets the line-up with Michael Walker locks. Co-collector @abbazaba said I'd need a new box to display my collection after I got the second Sage 5, but I managed a Saturday Squeeze and found a spot for the eighth knife too.

According to the tracking and given the season, I wasn't expecting this new one until Monday but USPS shipping and my understaffed/overburdened local PO both surprised me, making this a daily double Spartan Switcheroo Saturday. I've fallen for my SHF Northwest Edition really hard as it's rock solid and super in hand, but it's also way too pretty to beat up even though it would make a great work user. I found this twice-owned, sharpened, and used stonewashed version in excellent condition on the Exchange, got a sweet deal on it, and expect this'll see plenty of hard use going forward with it's beautifully engraved brother in more of an EDC role. These pics are straight out of the box with the knife still set up for left-hand carry.

Nice scores there brother! Beautiful collection! The sage is probably my favorite smaller Spydie and that SHF is a beauty!

Ill throw my mail call up as well with a little K390 :). Been after this one since i heard the FRN line was getting a steel upgrade and looking forward to the police LW when it drops also .

Oh, that's a pretty knife. Model?
Thanks Brother it’s a Muela Navaja back lock.
Never heard of these and then when I got one in hand I was very impressed with the fit and finish and how solid these are in all areas.Appears to be a bone Micarta bolster and black Micarta on the handle with almost a carbon fiber look and then they even went as far as to go with red liners which I really like the looks and also made it feel even better in hand since it made it a tad thicker.

Lol, I don’t particularly love having to follow one of @Tree Herder V’s incredible shots.....and damn, that one above kinda sets a whole new standard, don’t it? Absolutely spectacular.

Anyway, I reached for the Wingman “Spar-K” this morning for some post-Christmas errands:

So, way off topic and I don’t want to derail the thread...but I’m curious about something. I really dig this particular knife. So much so that I reached out to WingmanEDC to see if I could commission one with custom inlays. Haven’t heard back, but I’m willing to chalk that up to the holidays. My question is; is that a normal request that a small brand might be willing to accommodate...or one of those “don’t hold your breath” things?

If you made it this far, thanks. If you have some input you’d like to share, I’d truly appreciate it (maybe a pm to keep the thread clean? I dunno, I’ll leave that to the more experienced members). Apologies in advance if I’m off base asking here. Thanks.

Unfortunately I'd say don't hold your breath. That's an awesome knife though.

Thanks, Edge, and right back at ya' with that sweet K390 Endura.:thumbsup:

A while back I wasn't much for either backlocks or FRN, but I've come around quite a bit in regard to those. The more I used my original Endura and Delica, the more I came to both appreciate the feel in hand and weight of FRN. As they both broke in, I learned to tune them, and their blades came to free-drop to 90, they became so easy to close one handed that I've come to appreciate that locking mechanism. Of course I wished for steel better than their VG10 but now I have my Pakkawood versions of those two plus the Police in HAP40/SUS410 to satisfy that. My other G10 Police in K390 is a super cutter slicer and now you've got me thinking about a LW one, not to mention the same for an Endura.
