Today I carried an XL Cold Steel Voyager and a Kalashnikov AK47 auto.

It's been a tale of three knives kinda day. After unpacking and putting away most of what returned home from Vermont I spent a bit of time paying those of my business bills that come due mid-monthly and going through some mail that was set aside before we left. Accordingly, I used one of my Al Mar Talon desk knives, continuing yesterday's long, thin, pointy, and wicked keen theme with the cocobolo Eagle which makes your standard letter opener seem about as sharp as a log.

Before heading out on a couple errands, I re-packed those tools I usually take North from my work truck and snapped a couple Thirty-one Thursday pics on the Klein bag that's stuffed full of drill and driver accessories. It's a fantastic satchel that's still going strong after fifteen years.

I was planning to post my new ELC Fox/Wilson Ti collaboration after returning home from the PO, but mail call also brought my Tower of Power 40th anniversary DVD/CD and J and I settled in to watch that powerhouse exposition of funk and soul instead and I lost the light for decent pics. Here's one pilfered from the WC site 'til I can get a few of my own tomorrow and share a few thoughts on the knife.
