Edited to add that I ended up having to remove the lanyard, even with the 'clever' split ring around the stand off, that was too much and the edge would hit against even that! so, there isn't any clearance enough to add any cordage on this at all makes me sad but, still a heck of a knife!

edited yet again that I worked on it again and was able to get it to work!

Looking at this knife now and comparing it to when I first got the scales, you can tell its been used and held a lot. The scales are so much darker now. I'll pop a pic of the original along with what I'm carrying today later.
