EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Continuing to collect Modern Traditionals, with the A. G. Russell Medium Barlow.

It showed up Monday, so this has been my first chance to properly carry it. Part of the appeal is that I believe it could fit in anywhere, from the mine site to the kind of restaurant where they have a "shame tie" for you to wear, if you didn't bring your own.

How do you like it? I've come close to getting one several times.

Still carried this pair for most the day.

I wanted to take this picture to really highlight just how thin and slicy the mini copperlock is if you have never owned one. Also look at the tip! That knife is really made to cut.

This just came in today and I put a fresh edge on it so that it actually cuts well now. It will be replacing my copperlock for a while as my secondary so I can get a feel for it. The carbon blade and wood handle should age nicely.

A little CPM3v from Bradford knives arrived today, it's a special run from GP knives, I added a special bobtail fob as well as a vertical adapter to the sheath that allows me to wear it vertical which for me just feels safer with this one.

Great weaving Gary! Nice to see that you get the hang of the serpent knot nicely. Also super nice choice of color scheme.

Thanks and yes, getting the hang of that knot and like how it ends up being the same width as the Viking rune so it runs well like that

My girl got me this CRKT Squid for Valentine's day because she thought it was cute, lol.

I had to fix that awful factory edge.

Don't know if it counts as carrying but had this one in my hands for a couple hours today. Handle is abalone laminate.


And this is my fixed edc with some refining on the handle, need to reshape the sheath throat now.

First time in the last 8 days we didn’t have to brush snow off the vehicles, but we’re in for another 5” tonight before the deep freeze hits again.
