EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

This was one of those mornings I just couldn't decide what to carry to work. That annoying winter weather cut on my thumb was acting up again so I headed to the Benchmade box for an AXIS lock knife and grabbed an old favorite. My original 710 D2 "rescue knife" was saved from an abusive owner and received considerable rehabilitation to the edge, action, blade finish, and centering, with the addition of standoffs to replace the stock backspacer which had been rudely hacked out for blade clearance.

Looking at my pics, this good ole knife really deserves a better lanyard and I may well attend to that tomorrow.

Feeling a bit better, first day wearing the holster, albeit briefly, to Walgreens and back. Just getting used to the physical and psychological weight of carrying. It's mostly for when I go into the city to rescue my cousin for a weekend.

You’ll get use to ccw and if I may give some advice get the best leather belt you can afford it also makes such a huge difference in comfort. I have a couple of Crossbreed leather belts to go with there holsters.Very nice Crossbreed IWB your running also those are my favorite IWB and I’ve had many and those ended up being my go to. Look into Horsehide to for holsters they breath much when better and break in so much faster. It’s a great summer holster for those hot days.
Nice Sig to

you're so right, I have an NRA gun belt with velcro - no worries with metal detectors and the belt is super strong.

It took me a few years to figure it out lol.
But yes so much better support and distribution of the weight. Also keeps the holster/gun planted well so it’s not moving around and in the same place when and if you need to draw.

He was the man.

This thread would really benefit from Charlie Mike coming back to life and posting a pic of some abomination he made from a chunk of steel and a grinder. Then he could show us the other two 9" blades he had on him, in addition to his sobriety coin. [Pic stolen from VernonRemington].

Take one Cold Steel Spartan, turn CM loose on it with a grinder, and the result is a Fresno Felon.
