EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

I feel your pain brother. Had a hip replacement this morning. Forty five minute surgery and I’m walking two hours later, with the aid of a walker of course. :) Medical advancements are amazing.

Got a Bugout clip and put it on the -1. Liking it big time.
First time trying a Zebra 701. It’s a keeper.

Same surgery about 7 years ago. In a week or two it’ll feel like electricity in the leg once those nerves start to stitch back together. I haven’t regretted the surgery. Back to hiking, camping, exercising - no more Judo/Jujitsu though. Totally worth the short recovery time. Godspeed- heal well.

Piff who needs judo & Jujitsu anyway we all have knives and guns here :)
All kidding aside I think that would be a fun martial art to learn and master. Then if I was 30 years younger I’d be in the UFC my favorite “spectator “ sport :D

I had my left hip done three years back this month and am so glad I got it replaced. I had done a lot of re-hab and chiropractic for six months beforehand in a futile attempt avoid surgery, but that work served me really well in my miraculous and speedy recovery. My only post-surgical issue was healing up and getting rid of the fluid build-up after the humongous posterior hole my old-school Orthopod made to give himself plenty of room to work. He did a great job though.

Funny how you went right to tinkering with knives after surgery as I swapped out the hardware on my new HalfTrack as soon as I got home two days later. I was still on pain meds and my son and wife patiently picked up all the tiny parts I kept fumbling away.

Embrace the rehab, brother, and enjoy that new hip. It's just amazing what a difference it makes right away! :D
