EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

I had my left hip done three years back this month and am so glad I got it replaced. I had done a lot of re-hab and chiropractic for six months beforehand in a futile attempt avoid surgery, but that work served me really well in my miraculous and speedy recovery. My only post-surgical issue was healing up and getting rid of the fluid build-up after the humongous posterior hole my old-school Orthopod made to give himself plenty of room to work. He did a great job though.

Funny how you went right to tinkering with knives after surgery as I swapped out the hardware on my new HalfTrack as soon as I got home two days later. I was still on pain meds and my son and wife patiently picked up all the tiny parts I kept fumbling away.

Embrace the rehab, brother, and enjoy that new hip. It's just amazing what a difference it makes right away! :D

Thank all of you for the kind words!
I tried to get a picture with my knife in the hospital but it didn’t work out. o_O

So aggrivated with life lately. Expensive health problems popping up, marriage problems compounded by the fact we're both so busy anymore we literally barely even can talk to each other, work is killing me.

But hey, at least I have some good knives!

things can really turn quickly, but they can also turn again just as quick, one problem at a time so don’t let it overwhelm you, consider the plight of those less fortunate and realize that you don’t have it near as bad, not saying it is easy, but keep moving forward, remember progress not perfection is key
And nice knife btw!

Hang in there my Brother!
It will get better bro sometimes it just takes a little longer . Wishing things turn around fast for you !!

That knife is amazing! Hang in there, I hope you have a speedy recovery!

Ain’t it tho. Definitely a slick looking knife there

......Hoping you heal up like you’re 40!! Also, that knife ain’t bad...for a Stryder. ......

I feel your pain brother. Had a hip replacement this morning. Forty five minute surgery and I’m walking two hours later, with the aid of a walker of course. :) Medical advancements are amazing.

Nodded off last night but wanted to say thanks for the kind words.

GB940Rookie, hoping you have a speedy recovery and great success with your hip replacement. Also, for what it’s worth, not many folks can rock the hospital gown and make it look good. Gotta tell ya’ though......you’re making it look like spring’s hottest new fashion accessory!! But seriously, thanks for sharing.

I've been there for sure. Hang in there and do things that make you happy! My marital problems are in the past now, but I continue to work on being happy every single day.
