Sweet AFCK, brother. Nice pick-up. I don't know how I missed that thread, but I'm fortunate to already have both an 800 satin and a black-bladed 806 D2. Your knife would have sorely tempted me, but I probably would have grabbed that mini-Ruckus instead. Of course I was also finding and pulling the trigger on my Hudson right around then and wouldn't have wanted to dish out for both and am very pleased with my Cheburkov.

It's hard enough to find vintage BMKs in good condition that aren't serrated and of course they're overpriced compared to what they went for back in the day. Considering inflation and what you got you did well. Congrats, man!

The Civivi Riffle.

This is one of the best 55$ I've ever spent on a knife. Its got one of the thinnest edges I've felt on a production knife and it performs like a king. It's also rocking 14C28N which I hope is as good as their 9cr18mov and the action is addictive! I have yet to be let down by WE Knives.

Haven't bought a Gerber knife in years. Seen this one and took a chance. I'm shocked, the fit and finish is good. The action is good. No more blade play than my Spydercos.

The only thing about the knife I can say that is negative; the grind is off. It'll easily shave hair on one side, but not the other. How should I fix that, just a complete resharpen? If so, I'll just wait until the blade is dull.

For a $40 Gerber, I'm blown away. The knife is too large for me though. Not sure if I'll keep it or not just yet.

I like the layered G10 too.

If it only shaves hair on one side it sounds like its got a burr. Hit the side that shaves with a strop or ceramics and that should do it.

14C28N is a Sandvik steel if I’m not mistaken...you will love it.
I have a few users with Sandvik’s steel. Love ‘em.

Thanks CP. I had a bunch of sweet Benchmades back in the day. Sold my last AFCK
5 or 6 years ago, wish I had all that stuff back . I couldn't resist when I saw this one.
I need to stay out of the exchange.
