New carving to go with the other old, man on a walker..

Almost popped on that exact model!

By the way, 14C28N is great knife steel, and a big step ahead of 8CR13MOV. It holds a great edge and doesn't need diamonds to sharpen (but they do help).

That's just been my experience anyway. I'm sure you're going to love that knife!

Another angle of my shot from yesterday, but still applies, as I'll be traveling with the family the next two days.

Nice! You should definitely snag one when you get the chance. I got lucky and bought this along with the brazen as a package deal for 60$ shipped.

Yea 14c28n is is pretty fantastic, I'm interested to see how civivi's version of it performs. The 9cr18 on other civivi's out performs my spyderco's s30v along with my zero tolerances 20cv as far as edge retention via cardboard. The stuff is nuts for the money!

Nice pic btw, is that the 43x? I just picked up the 43x MOS and I'm loving it!

That top wharnie is a beautiful knife. Hot darn. :D

14C28N is a Sandvik steel if I’m not mistaken...you will love it.
I have a few users with Sandvik’s steel. Love ‘em.

I bet! I've seen a lot of fellow users on here say their favorite steel is 14c28n along with stuff kind of similar like AEB-L and Nitro-V. I'm super stoked to put it through it's paces.

Hey brother!

Yes, it's the 43X. Very accurate pistol, I like how it handles. Have you shot yours much yet? I had a problem-magazine initially. Glock swapped it out for me.

I like that knife and my fave steel also...what is it plese?
It’s a ZT0393 hinderer collaboration if my memory serves me correctly with a flamed Hinderer pocket clip. That’s one of the many things I liked about this knife is most Hinderer parts/accessories fit.
Unfortunately this is one of many I let go and sure miss :)

Im on the android app. Its sucks. I'm deleting it.
I find the app to be f'in' useless. I keep the Imgur desktop link handy on my phone to upload pics, then have to go to Settings to choose "Original" and go to Images from there. I usually downsize my pics using their Edit tool, then can click on any one to open the menu to select the BB code to paste into my text.

Surprise, surprise, more pics of another day with the Hudson. Are we bored yet?

No chance of me getting bored with pics of that one. With those elegant lines, well-executed details and a classic, sophisticated overall aesthetic....I could stare at it all day. Beautiful knife...and yeah, I want one too.

View attachment 1535719Cant be any more boring than me

Lol, looking at your pic I was scratching my head and wondering wtf you were thinkin’ when you decided to install that rusty old spring as a fob/lanyard. No way that’s comfortable in a pocket.

It took a few moments, but I eventually realized what it was that I was seeing.

By the way, there’s no need to worry. I done went and gave myself a big-ass slap upside my head for that one. Not gonna lie.....I deserved it.

Also, I never find any of your shots boring. They’re almost always taken in very unique and different venues....and I kinda get a kick outta scrutinizing the backgrounds.
