For the last few weeks I've been leaning more and more toward not just acquiring but modding a ZT0640 of my own. I've been checking out dealers, looking at clips, and exploring scale options (yeah that puke green CF is pretty nasty and I really enjoyed B Bigbluefish 's hypothetical conversations post). I even downloaded and pre-filled out Tom Krein's work order for a re-grind. I was leaning toward the SDK burgundy Micarta scales--I think they're whatMinor mod #2 for the 0640, a Gray Precision Monster Disk in blasted Ti. As with my Emersons, this is a nice-to-have "quality of life" upgrade; opening is fine with the stock disk, but better with this one.
I still need to try a stock Emerson clip on the 0640, but so far I've pocketed it in jeans, cargo shorts, and basketball shorts with no issues. The ramp is shallow...but the whole clip just disappears in-hand.

Anyway, back on topic, today was a Spartan Saturday with my Northwest Coast Harsey Folder.
