EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

This is a Throwback Thursday on a few levels--of course the knife itself is the main part as the Tabargan was discontinued sometime around 2013-14. This particular 100NS is the the more basic model with 2D G10 scales and what might be considered a throwback steel in its 440C blade, an alloy not au courant yet quite capable of taking and holding an excellent edge, particularly in this iteration from Shirogorov.

Our work for part of the afternoon today was also somewhat throwback-related. Having sold our boat and given up our frontage in the back of our nearby harbor, our dock floats have languished under the trees on our garage (woodshop and gym) lot since we pulled them out a few years back ahead of the last dredging. We've set about dismantling these two rather substantial assemblages with hopes of re-using as much of the lumber as is salvageable in the construction of an equipment shed up north to house our field mower, logging arch, and splitter.

Thank you for the compliment, I really appreciate it. Sometimes I just get lucky and the pic turns out, such as this one. It was 5:30am and this was just my lighting test shot, one and done, lol. I can’t even begin to measure up to your works of art, together with all the other experts here too, but I sure do have fun trying. Thanks again brother.

Over the past few years, I've slowly been working my way through all of Cold Steel's mega-folders. I believe the Ti-Lite VI is unique among them because it combines smooth handles, non-budget steel, and a wave; all the others I know of hit 1/3 or 2/3 of those traits, but not 3/3. Having previously owned the Zytel/AUS8 version, which I didn't love, this aluminum/S35VN model is 100% the one to go with (of the in-production Ti-Lites, a least). :thumbsup:

If you're thinking there was a 6" titanium version you're outta luck...I thought for sure there had been one but I was informed it only existed in my head😪😂

I still wouldn’t have a buck on me.

We’ve had steady rain all day, so I’m settling for a dimly-lit indoor shot today…

For throwback Thursday I just got the sweet old Explorer buttonlock...pretty sure I remember these from the 90's catalogs. Nifty take on the folding hunter design, interesting to note the advertisement of EDM in the production process😎
