Now,u r finlly rumbling fromyo as!God help us all if I inadvertently capture a reflection of something that has no business popping up on a knife forum
Posting for the past few days, as I had the computer unplugged and stored in the one downstairs room where we had the portable A/C for the heat wave. While I was on the hike up to the waterfall that I posted a few days back, I was also doing a bit of recon to find a good place to ride out the scorching temps, and I came across one that was ideal. It was about 50 yards off the trail and below a ridge so it was completely secluded. There was a little spot shaded by the canopy and right next to the snow fed river (51 degree water). It was like sitting in the A/C but out in the wilderness. Even though the surrounding area had temps well above 100-110, the highest temp I clocked sitting here was 82 degrees
! We set our camp chairs down in the edge of the water and just chilled all day for every day of the heat wave. We brought food & beverages, and stayed until the sun started to go down. Unfortunately, we couldn't camp due to various obligations. I ended up sleeping on the back deck every night, which was actually quite comfortable until 4AM this morning when I awoke to a temp of 64. Heat wave over I reckon.
Anyhow, I rotated between the Salt and the 20CV LW Manix as my primary folder, but also carried a Case Swayback and SE Dragonfly in pocket.

I'm usually more of a dark beer guy, but decided to go with something lighter for the occasion (actually raided the wifey's for this one)

WingmanEDC Spark for what started out as a reasonably nice Wednesday morning. 45 minutes later and I’m stuck in my car waiting for the rain to let up a bit so I don’t get soaked going into an appointment.
30-plus years living in southwest FL. You’d think by now I’d know to carry an umbrella during the rainy season. Lol…what is it they say about old dogs?
