EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

My usual Saturday morning suspects, have a great weekend people.

I've had a long last couple of weeks so I've largely been absent from the forum here (and this thread by extension). However, today is hopefully the start of a relaxing weekend that carries into a less-frantic couple of weeks for myself.

Additionally, today I was finally able to pick up the REI Exclusive 940-1702 I've been waiting for to blade swap my 943BK with, which is also what I carried today in anticipation of this. Love how the black and green play off each other and I'm really happy with the G10 regarding how it's going to wear long-term as opposed to the pj green aluminum handled 940 I previously had. Anyways, enough talking, pictures!:

ETA: Almost forgot, happy belated Thanksgiving to those South of the border!

Got damn it! Your pic makes me want to buy it, i have to sell something now! The pic is an armed robbery! There, where is that benchmade, the 710. 1401 or whatever year it was, just saw it around...

It's still my EDC a month later, now with some wear to the coating and clip. Still loving it. :D

This time around I've used it for long enough that I'm completely used to the assist. Closing it takes only marginally more effort than an unassisted knife, and slow-rolling it open -- which does require a bit of adaptation -- is now second nature.

If the weight (6 oz.) doesn't bother you, it's a great knife.

You can always just catch the opening blade by putting your free fingers right over the spine of the blade as you open the knife then slowly let the spring push the blade the rest of the way open. This is another way to slowly open the knife.

What a great knife. Few folders do it all like this one. One of the best knives for getting alot of blade out of such a pocket friendly package.

And I may have created a monster. In her quest to find a knife for me, my girlfriend has been picking her own knives out, and admitting that she's getting into them

And she's jumping straight to WE Knives! I don't know of I should be proud or scared of the fact that there might be another knife addict in the relationship...

I don't do much s.media. Is she sugar ti+s ? :) Yes , you have it going on if she digs blades.

Regarding knives. My better half carries a knife and accepts me for who I am. But that's about it.

The only knives she admits to liking are unique, holiday and forest scene sebenzas.

Awesome, I still say the 350 series is my favorite ZT's. I de-assisted one of mine and I hated it! I don't have any problems closing it with the torsion spring either. I like the crack of hard opening knife! Lol
