EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Got it on the exchange šŸ‘, but is a nice example. Just replaced the o rings. #006, found some at ace hardware. But yes, great knife! Took a little bit to get used to the opening technique which is different from my Inkosi.
Nice good to know about the o rings when the times comes I’ll head to my local ace šŸ‘šŸ»
Im suprised CRK doesn’t throw a extra set in there since they will wear over time. Not a big deal but I’ll see how many miles I get on mine.
Yes much different then the Inkosi which I love also. The Zaan isn’t as fidget friendly at least mine isn’t she’s pretty tight but I like it as it should break in wonderful. It’s already starting to with just a couple days of pocket and table top carry. But man in hand I love the feel and texture of the handle and just the balance of the knife. When I put it in my hand it just screams Let me cut something please lol.

Agreed on the extra set of o rings. I bought mine 2nd hand, so I wasn't sure. But 100% not fidget friendly for me either, I'm hoping it gets a bit easier to open over time.

One thing I noticed, is that the pocket clip puts a considerable amount of force on the lock. At first I had an extremely hard time opening and I couldn't figure out why. And my hand was off the clip and lock. I then pulled the clip off the lock and went to open it. It flew open with ease! So, you might want to check yours as well, pulling it out just a little might help ease the action a bit. Just don't bend it too far ;). Or you could remove the clip first to see if that helps and if it does, then try to adjust the tension.

But yes, otherwise, I love the handle, ergo's, etc. It's a real joy to use!

Thanks for the tip ! For sure no pressure on the lockbar or your in for a sore thumb. I found that if I rest my finger on the lock bar stop I know my finger isn’t on the lockbar and it opens much easier. It’s breaking in very nice now for sure.
Now my finger is automatically going to that lockbar stop when opening.

It’s only early Sunday evening but picked my carry for Monday out since tomorrow is my first day back to work from vacation 😲 and going to try to head off to bed a head of time to get a jump on the nights sleep since my sleep pattern has been all over the board just like vacations should be 😁
Decided to go relatively light and definitely slicey to ease me back into the saddle.

Gearing up to gut my collection (always a painful process 🄳), and I'm surprised -- maybe even bemused -- that the Bad Monkey is thus far making the cut, even over more expensive knives with fancier materials. Such is the power of Rick Grimes. :D
