EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

My apologies for the very late response.

That is an AuK3 EDC - made with A2 steel and burlap Micarta by @daizee. It really is a fine little knife, I need to carry it more.

Thank you much!!! Looks like a great little cutter!!!!

I picked up a Southard Performance Series Tolk off the Exchange last night and got to thinking about the mid-tech knives I have from custom makers. It's nice to be able to have something from Southard, McGinnis, or RJ Martin's hands that doesn't cost 4 figures. As a consequence, I carried Gerry's ProLine Valve today running errands with J and a trip to the lumber yard as we gather materials to finally get our re-roofing project finished.

If you picked up the orange back spacer tolk... our tastes are even more similar than I thought! Hahaha

I was eyeing that up so bad but I'm going to save for another CPK , nice buy!!!!

Yeah, that's the one I grabbed, thanks. I've been watching the Exchange regularly and kept telling myself I wouldn't be buying anything-- just keeping up, right?

I've always been interested in the Tolk. They don't show up often, that one was a good price, and I liked that it had a couple marks coz I'd want it to use-- not sitting in a drawer just to fondle. I've been into my CTS-XHP blades lately, too. I don't think that orange backspacer's gonna stay in, though, and I'm glad the original standoffs were included.

inexpensive buck 420HC knife (one of the US made types) with composite sides.

I figured out how to sharpen it so that it can trim brass without much damage. That's kind of taken the steam out of carrying around my better knives (which I have to pay attention to for fear of losing).
