I carried my Klotzli Swiss Border Guard this morning....
...but I knew I'd be swapping out later as my new-to-me Southard Tolk was on it's final leg to my PO early this morning. I picked it up mid-afternoon after figuring out the bends and their order for a small but annoyingly knotty sheetmetal project. Here's the latest acquisition still wearing the orange backspacer that came installed.
The original blue standoffs were included in the deal and I went right ahead and installed them. The backspacer came out hard and I had to separate the slabs and drive the screw receivers out, managing to put a couple more snail trails in what's gonna be a user anyway. I'm pretty pleased with it, though, and will share some thoughts about it on the morrow. In the meantime, here's one more pic next to the the SBG, which is just a little smaller and about the same weight as both knives sport extensive interior milling.
