We finally got going on the resumption of my home roof project today. I grabbed my Firetac this morning 1) because it's Micarta Monday, and 2) because I just love this damn knife. It's got several excellent mods including its really sweet open-weave canvas, tannish OD scale and several hardware upgrades. I like the Battle Black finish more every time I handle it, and the it's a sublime combination of built like a tank and a slim, pocketable knife with CPM20CV steel that's a great cutter/slicer. It does a nice job sharpening pencils, too, as the top pic below bears evidence of such use.
