Funny thing is, when I first got into knives it was all about the blacked out look for me, and I mostly wore black clothes. It was actually searching for variety in knives (G-Shocks/watches as well) that inspired me to embrace the pops of bold colors in the first place. I honestly can't even explain why I'm into the funky colors at the moment, other than I dig it right now and am drawn to it 🤷‍♂️

I do know I pull it off well, and look damn good while doing it though ;)

The Sr. electrician threatened to charge up a 50 mF and toss it to me, more than once. I told him good luck, because I can't catch thrown objects worth anything, and it would likely go past me, bounce off the concrete, and ruin a perfectly good cap'.

That makes more sense than it being some kind of kluged-together soft-start, but why not use one big-honking capacitor than all those little ones? Unless this is.... "custom" assembled?
