Working on the roof again on Throwback Thursday with my trusty old 710 user. This was my first Benchmade and real favorite that came to me in rough shape from its previous owner.. It's had the blade restored to minimize the stains and pocking, the hacked out backspacer removed and replaced with standoffs, the action polished and cleaned up, the blade properly centered, and has received some three sharpenings to correct the hack-job edge that it sadly wore when it arrived. This knife and I are old friends and it always brings a smile when I carry it.

If I don't get used to it will probably contact MT, I know they won't fix it much but any improvement would be very welcomed.

Bad news: it ain't the button, it's you. Good news: you'll develop muscle in your thumb you didn't know you had. Give it time. The CT is NOT the ultratech - the springs are STRONG. It'll loosen up a bit, but it feeling easier is more you getting stronger.
