Opted for the small Strizh to start what was supposed to be a quick and easy Tuesday. Yet….I somehow managed to stretch that “quick and easy” into a “long and tedious”, getting home just as the sun was setting down behind the woods.

I wrote a post this morning, got interrupted, and never uploaded it. I often carry this one or its brother on Skinny Slicer or Skinny Sheepfoot Saturday or Sunday. It's TriWay Ti Tuesday, though, so here's my No-Choil XM18 on a three-way day with early-morning b-ball admin and evening 4th boys practice bracketing roof work which itself bracketed a noonish PT session, making for a rather symmetrical 14 hours of busy-ness.

I want to learn to make lanyards too. So far I have seen some you tube videos.

You can check out plenty of 'em over here, sir. Watch a few vids, then progress from tying simple to more complex knots with quality cord and you'll be an old pro before you know it. You'll also start spending unanticipated funds on beads.

I'm transitioning away from the Benchmade auto stryker, since the spring got weak after years of abuse. The SOG is proving lighter and useful for work tasks, so far.

My "spray bomb" paint method didn't like the plastic handle on the SOG nearly as much as it did the metal Benchmade.
