Today's setup. Funny thing is I am most excited for the little neck flashlight. Half the size of a chapstick and 550 lumens! It is my new favorite.

As promised, here's my 710-1401 with it's splendid custom scales by @Keyman . My sister asked for a replacement in a similar form for her now-ratty key lanyard that slips over her wrist. She's got a giant bunch of keys from the college where she teaches, so I want to find a slightly smaller fixed ring for her to clip her larger one onto before re-tying the last two snake knots then clipping and burning the ends.

I’ve been thinking about moving this, but with a good edge this stout little fella is an absolute destroyer of heavy duty cardboard. I guess it’ll be around a bit longer!

I have given thought to selling mine too but then I pick up, fondle, realize it cant easily be had again, and back it goes in the drawer.

You carbidized the ghetto pikal?

Bang Tang does these. Yep tungsten carbide edge and he convexes the other side. Also reprofiled blade a bit.

It’s all a bit much for what was a $5 knife but I really like the results.
