I'm doing my Wolverine impression today.

Gonna manicure the third adamantium nail? Some black matching coating...

I do all my sharpening by hand. I initially bought a sharpmaker but quickly realized that unless the edge angle was 30 or 40 degrees and I was holding the knife perfectly vertical the jig was essentially useless. (Well the 40 degree can put a microbevel on an inclusive angle under 40 degrees) Bought the diamond rods hoping I could reprofile edges with them, no luck.

So I started sharpening holding the rod in one hand and the knife in the other. Then switching hands to do either side of the edge. It worked fine riding the edge on the AlOx rods to get a very sharp edge but reprofiling with the diamond rod was still always a failure. Just recently I figured out how to ise the diamond rods freehand to reprofile. I had to use much faster almost sandpaperlike stokes to eat off enough steel. Now I can sharpen for real, not only touch up! :)

Just finished anodizing this. Wanted to try a new pattern, a snake pattern. Every time I anodize I seem to learn something new. I figured out how to get nice clean anodized geometric shapes and will do that on my next ano job.

Man, this looks like a photo of a grafffity on a building's wall!

she set on Contego only? I'm just thinking out loud here, :p but a BM 940 would be a lighter carry more discreet and a fair bit of blade as well.
Ahhaha right! Contego! And then u see vininulls and other terminators saying about para instead of large milie because of the weight! Attagirl.

Pulled the Iron Wolf for some pocket time today.
Had to post it up with dinner for an appetizer for everyone.;)

That kind of pics is starting to make me see anything except for a knife. I can even say sometimes there is spoon... I just look at THIS and cant even take a glimpse at a knife. Taking the last hobby from me.

alliuse alliuse I'm a traditional knife collector and don't keep up with the modern patterns but that is one wicked looking piece of Spyderco steel. What is the name of that Spyderco I may just have to add one of those to the pile I really like it however that blade shape makes it look like it would be a bit hard to sharpen because I sharpen freehand on bench stones.. The first decent modern folder I ever bought was a PM2 one of the few moderns I have left is a Delica I love. The steel is VG-10 while not great it's still a very decent steel. So I guess I could say I'm a Spyderco fan.
