EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

alliuse alliuse I'm a traditional knife collector and don't keep up with the modern patterns but that is one wicked looking piece of Spyderco steel. What is the name of that Spyderco I may just have to add one of those to the pile I really like it however that blade shape makes it look like it would be a bit hard to sharpen because I sharpen freehand on bench stones.. The first decent modern folder I ever bought was a PM2 one of the few moderns I have left is a Delica I love. The steel is VG-10 while not great it's still a very decent steel. So I guess I could say I'm a Spyderco fan.

It is a Spyderco Vrango. They are no longer made, but I assume a few are still available on the interwebs. The design is a little off the beaten path, but I think a good looking little knife

My favorite Spyderco of all time, getting some lock side love.

After ignoring everything else lately in favor of carrying my Keen, I made myself switch it up a little the past two days. Back to the Keen tomorrow.

I just finished a four-day moving spree with the small Buck Vantage Pro and the Victorinox Swisstool X.

They both performed admirably. By the end of the move, the Buck was getting dull at the curved part of the blade. To move us an excellent test of the knife. I cut up boxes, tape, plastic, paper, sandwiches, fruit and zip ties. All the silverware was packed up, so I had the only knives around. My mom worried about where that little Buck had been, so I used the Swisstool's blade on everyone else's food.

This is the first test of S30V, for me. I'm pretty impressed. I also found that a flipper is the preferred (non-auto) knife to use with gloves. I could open it with the thumb slot, but it wasn't easy.

The "Alaskan Guide" text and graphic are now about halfway worn off of the blade; fine with me.

Been having trouble getting this little Le Shark sharp. Now that I have greatly improved my sharpening skill its no issue. Still carrying my 940 but added a Le Shark as well. This is about as micro a fixed blade as you can go, well almost.

I can use the chain to neck knife carry it or use it as a static cord and stick the sheath in my coin pocket. Iwb the fob hangs over the lip of my pants and prevents the knife from falling down into my pants.

Got it mirror polished pretty easy, sorry for lousy light.

Here’s light playing one more trick; a very cool one indeed. This knife is 12c27 and just like its 440c La Griffe big brother it too came with an auto hamon. No where is the knife advertised as intentionally having a hamon which means this one likeky autohamoned during heat treat.

I would love to try le shark but the cost of 100€ they cost here is ridiculous..

I see they adai do not eat it twice these days. Your wave is good, and i still am polishing the blade and still do not even see horizon. Nothing to compare with bm or zt. In fact i would even admit that: even my micro *coug cough ultra *cough is not that bad in blade finish. Wasnt ground though, almost at all, dull as a kitchen plastic knife. But it is easy to sharpen, and to do the polishing of a blade of over two hundred usd adai is not.
