My little edc light is about a decade old now , both the light and knife have accidentally been through a washer and drier on several occasions.

That Albatross is actually a really sweet little knife, I reground and jigged the scales on one a few years back.

I love it and it would get more pocket time if the anno on it wasn't so finicky. Any use and it goes flat grey.

That's kinda just the nature of Ti ano to an extent, anything on the surface like finger oils interferes with the refraction that actually causes the color to appear. Unlike aluminum ano, which is dyed to achieve color...titanium colors are all tricks of light by a clear oxide layer.

I have a small sebenza I mirror polished and then ano’d it bright orange…when ever it gets handled it eventually goes dark purple from my hands oils.

Windex will bring mine back to bright orange.
