I've carried a Sage I for years and years and love it.
I checked that Gayle Bradley 2 out and $170 is just a little too rich for me right now. Guess I'll start saving now for one. Thanks for fueling my addiction.

Great looking knife, but FYI, the scales are NOT carbon fiber, they are G10 with a CF laminate on top. I wish SpyderCo would just make them one or the other...

Menacing edge Monday?

So after almost a month of carry and use I finally decided to get rid of the factory edge. It held up really well with some stropping but I was curious to see how it would sharpen. I stopped at 400 grit venev and this thing is insane.

Also does anyone else have a hard time using a fresh edge? I'll put a brand new knife to work but after a new edge I always question what I'm about to cut!

Yeah it didn't last long. I still had a bunch of boxes from Christmas to break down and it did awesome. As much as it sometimes pains me to use a fresh edge I love how they cut.

Takes a bit for this Florida boy to get moving in these conditions. Started out killing some time while I waited for the coffee to kick in, carrying the Minichamp. Then switched to the Bugout/Rambler combo.
