I guess shame on me for not knowing what to look for when having work done. Valuable lesson for me. This is why I like leaning how to do my own work for just about everything.

I couldn’t tell you the last time I’ve sharpened a knife. I’ve never understood why people say CRKs don’t hold and edge. I can go well over a month without touching the edge, easily over a month.

But when I do sharpen I have an edge pro and just follow the factory edge with the factory stones that come with it

Loved the knife, hated the serrations behind the flipper. Amazing what a couple of quick thumbstuds can do. All the difference in the world!

Quiet vacation morning hanging out with the dogs pajama pants carry. Which of course is exactly the same as workday jeans carry and go to church trouser carry. I absolutely love having just the one knife I carry.

I’m a huge fan of thumb studs too. My favorite.

Work backpack knife to the rescue! It happens about once every 12-18 months. I walk out the door for work and don’t actually have a knife on me. So into my pack I go to grab the Recruit that is there everyday, whether I need it or not.

Very seldom. I had a guy here send me a small wood strop to keep in the truck. I’ve used it a handful of times, but not regularly. A working edge works good for my needs. I’m not shaving arm hair or slicing paper all day but for my needs, it works just fine
