I am this close to getting myself an AG Russell slipjoint, either there or Case, I very much want to invest in a high-quality slipjoint. I love my Winchester but want something a tad better. I stumbled upon AG absolutely randomly one day looking for slipjoint styles, and found his enyclopedia of blade shapes and got myself a Cotton Sampler cause it was so odd, almost like a saber-ground slipjoint (which had also existed!).

How do you like this? It looks like a lot of work was put into it and that synthetic yellow is one of my favorite slippie colors, got an Old Timer Workmate like that.

The fit and finish on the Japanese models is excellent, the Chinese models are very good...I love this peanut a lot! The scales are actually Mammoth ivory, not yellow delrin... they have a very buttery/creamy tone to them for sure though.

Manix 2. It's similar to a benchmade axis lock, not assisted. Spyderco does make some automatic knives. I can't think of any assisted spyderco's off the top of my head.

There most likely are some that I'm unaware of. Spyderco has done so many models that have come and gone.
