EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Ah I see, never used a knife with axis lock, so it was unfamiliar to me! I love your knife though, boy is that nice! How is that lock compared to compression? Only have a compression lock PM2 and a backlock Matriarch 2. Oh, and a Spyderco Bug :)
Manix 2. It's similar to a benchmade axis lock, not assisted. Spyderco does make some automatic knives. I can't think of any assisted spyderco's off the top of my head.

There most likely are some that I'm unaware of. Spyderco has done so many models that have come and gone.

Man, I got no love for it, besides being too old to boot. If it wasn't my own and more than a little unconventional in several respects, I'd have let the work out for sure. As it is, my buddy and I have been picking away at it when his schedule allows, but we've gotten kinda too deep into winter to make much progress as each little increment requires a couple days to execute.

Is that an OSB roof deck falling apart on you there? Looks like a real mess. ☹️

On the knife-carry front, I dressed in gym clothes today but never worked out--just did desk work and emailing and ran one errand. Still, I needed a light knife for my comfortable attire and went with the featherweight CF Strizh.

Thanks, I find this type of lock is easier for me to manipulate compared to a compression lock. I have a bug on my keys.

Cool combo, and great photo.

I had an AD20 for a while, and just couldn't warm up to it, so it went on the block last year. A week ago I saw a 20.5 Sharksfoot for sale and bought it on a whim, being a straight-edge fan. I love it ! The specs made it seem like an AD20 with a shorter blade, but it's thinner and lighter, and has steel liners. Anyways, just to share :)

My kiddos picked this one for my Christmas present out of a handful of choices. SOLID, smooth, and comfy.

Patient and quiet. Sat for close to 45 minutes for her to surface. She’d loop and catch the rim and nibble at the edges.

My apologies for the gratuitous beaver pictures.

Yea it’s all rotted. Had a pretty big leak for quite a while. Ceiling below is bad as well. It’s a rental house of my dads. Second roof I was on today fixing leaks. This one wasn’t as easy as the first. He’s been down and out with covid for about a month, another guy has been on vacation for a month, so it’s just been me and another guy working. Between the electric work, all his rentals and farms, needless to say it’s been extremely hectic

It came like that. I forget what rockstead calls this grind/ edge. Im just trying to figure out how I'm going to resharpen it when the time comes.
Oh nice. Didn't know they did that. You should ask the people in the Rockstead thread. Seems like you can probably just follow the secondary bevel. Beautiful knife and probably my "grail".
