EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Thought I’d start out with these today for my table top and around the house carry. Almost sold the ZT 0562CF since I was going to put it on the block today.I’m so glad I didn’t especially since I’ve only had it for a week or so lol. I had a TI version and I liked that a little more but were splitting hairs here. So decided to keep the CF and it is a little lighter not that it matters much to me lol.

It's Day Two with no power after the yesterday's Nor'Easter snow event and Day Three carrying my Turtle

This is the fourth season since the last real snow accumulation we've had on Cape, so temps in the teens and 6" of white stuff is pretty much a major event now. I bought a real nice snow blower back in 2018 at distressed pricing from my friend's hardware store as he was looking to be rid of unmoved stock and I've never really used it. I'll get it fired up tomorrow and give it a go as my plow guy's doofus kid only partially cleared our road and neglected to take a pass around our 200 feet of circular drive.

Here's our little generator in our boys' old wagon rigged up with removable top keeping our fridge running, giving us a couple lights, and keeping my laptop charged along with our phones to use as hotspots.

Thanks for the kind thought, brother. I grew up in North Jersey, have lived on the Cape for 50 years now, and have acreage and a camp in Vermont, so I'm kinda used to this winter weather. I could live without losing power for sure, but our Russian fireplace keeps us reasonably warm, though my wood supply isn't what it should be this season as I was pretty gimpy heading into my knee replacement late summer. Next year we'll be better prepared.

Edit: I just finished writing and the power came back on. I think I'll just let the generator run dry instead of going out in the cold and dark and snow. It's probably almost out of gas anyway....
