Hey it went really well, thanks for asking! I got lucky and the roads were clear with no snow coming down. Lots of snow on the sides of the road and very cold but I got lucky and there wasn't any precipitation. I have a bad habit of setting down my closed folding knife on my lap while I'm driving because I have another bad habit of fondling it while I drive. I stopped at the summit and got out of my vehicle to take a few pics, got back in and drove another half hour and realized my Ritter Grip was not in my pocket or anywhere to be seen. I was freaking out expecting to have to add an hour to my trip and hope that nobody picked it up from where it slid off my lap and into the snow when I got out, but I parked when I could after the next exit and found that it slid in-between the passenger seat and the center console in that forbidden zone and was extremely relieved haha. How did the trip go? No issues I hope!
Awesome pics, I love Mt. hood and just pretty much that whole area. I send my prayers to you, your mom and your family! Yea that stuff is crazy hard.Day out giving me a break from caregiving for my Mom. Dementia is tough, and this hike was therapeutic. 8 miles in snow, and the midway lunch break made it all amazing. Mount Hood is pretty amazing this time of year.

Yeah it’s possible,..big iguanas and pythons are all over down there these days, thanks to hurricane damage and people releasing their “pets”Just watched a weather report for Florida, something about falling iguanas, that sounds like fun.![]()
