EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

I've had a busy couple days prepping Friday and site-directing yesterday for our b-ball league finals. I never did get pics for Shiro Saturday as I carried my NeOn UL for my 12-hour day, driving up-Cape and back to keep the gym running smoothly and handle all the presentations. I'm starting out Shiro Sunday with my RDD, but think I'll probably switch out to my user Turtle as I think I'll get off my butt and split a bunch of the locust bolts stacked out back to get a head start on next season's firewood.

Here's at least 2/3 of the last two days' carry, anyway....

I received this old classic beauty yesterday. An original Japan made Al Mar SERE 2K. Al Mar's were one of the first "high end" knives I lusted over as a kid. I remember seeing them in Excalibur at the mall whenever I went there. I thought I'd never seen something so beautiful. I was super saddened when I got back into knives a little while ago and saw that Al Mar has changed their knives to over seas production, but I found this one as new old stock. I love how they hand sand all along the edges of the handles. The liners and g10 match perfectly and have that nice chamfer all along. Al Mar always put a really awesome finish on their VG-10 blades too. I can't really get a good picture of it but it's a nice satin finish but if you look closely in good light, it has that kind of underlying wavy finish that I've only ever seen in VG-10 blades and I believe 154 cm. I'm not really sure what the deal is with that but I love it.
Edit: I guess that last picture does kind of show the pattern in the steel that I'm talking about. Those aren't fingure prints, the steel has that cool kind of wavy looking grain structure to it. I love that shiii.. Haha
